Injury and Recovery

Physiotherapy is advised for the pre and post operative patient to prepare for surgical procedure, enhance post operative recovery and reduce recovery time. Physiotherapy reduces pain and inflammation, improves function, reduces secondary compensations and optimises healing. Physiotherapy not only speeds up the rate of healing but also ensures adequate recovery to prevent further damage, inadequate healing and re-injury in the future. Canine physiotherapy uses a combination of manual therapies, electrotherapies, and exercises prescriptions to support the rehabilitation of all cases.
